Have you ever wanted to get some feedback from the visitors
to your site, but not had the time or knowledge maybe
to create the database or code necessary to hold the
answers? Well, we could have the answer for you. Site
Survey is created to allow you to easily create a feedback
survey on your website.
You will need a Windows server that
can use ASP, a directory for the database that has write
permissions, (your host can help you out with this),
and a copy of Internet Explorer for the admin section.
That's it. Then copy site survey to your web, fire up
the admin pages and you are away creating questions
and feedback answers.
Then, at any time you can check the
built in Site Survey statistics to see how people have
answered your survey. This information can be invaluable
for improving your website, getting feedback on your
product range, planning future developments and a whole
host of other possibilities.
We've put a version of Site Survey on
the server to have a trial run with. Please note that
you need Internet Explorer 5 or higher to use the admin
screens, and for security reasons we had to make the
database read-only. This means that you will get errors
if you try to save your work, but hopefully you can
still get the idea of how things work.
