Templates
The template folder includes one Dreamweaver template (.dwt
file) and sample pages created from the templates (.htm files).
The sample template folders also include image files that
appear on the templates (.gif or .jpg files, located in the
images folder).
Graphics
Blank company name and button graphics are included so you
can add your own company or site name and button titles. These
are found in the images folder. Import the needed blank graphics
into your graphics program (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Image
Composer, etc.). If the program allows, place the button graphics
in layers, making additional layers for the words. Display
each layer of the button graphics, one at a time, plus a word
layer, save the newly modified tabs as .gifs, and export into
the template.
OR use the Fireworks editable .png files found in the PNGs
folder. If you do not have Fireworks, a free trial copy is
available from Macromedia. With the .png files the color of
the graphics can be easily changed. The button file is
already in layers.
Tip: Give the new graphics the same file names as the original
graphics in the template, letting them override the original
graphics in the images folder. This way they will automatically
fall into place in the template. After the new graphics are
in the images folder, rename the files to make more sense
for your site.
The font used on the company name, left side buttons and
slogan images was Impact. The font used on the tab buttons
was Verdana.
We are also available to modify the company name and button
graphics for a nominal fee. Please contact
us for details.
Navigation
The buttons are rollover images. Two versions of each button
must be created with the titles you wish to use for your website.
